2025年考研英语作文专项训练真题考试时间：______分钟总分：______分姓名：______Part A You are allowed 30 minutes to write a letter of about 100 words to your university library, suggesting improvements. You should write neatly on ANSWER SHEET 2.Do not sign your name at the end of the letter;just write the number of your student ID.Do not write any addresses.Dear Sir or Madam,Part B Study the following chart carefully and write an essay in about 160 words. In the chart above is a comparison of the annual household income and the annual expenditure for a typical family in Country X from 1990 to 2023.The household income has seen a steady increase, while the expenditure has also risen but at a slower rate. What can be seen from the chart is that the family’s annual income grew from 20,000 dollars in 1990 to nearly 80,000 dollars in 2023,a dramatic increase of 300%.However,the annual expenditure started at 15,000 dollars and ended at around 60,000 dollars, which is less than half of the income growth. The expenditure also doubled over the same period, indicating a gradual but less significant rise compared to income.Several factors might account for this phenomenon. On the one hand, the family’s income could have been boosted by career advancement, business success,or other financial gains. On the other hand, the expenditure might have been controlled through prudent financial management, such as saving on luxury items, reducing debt,or investing wisely. It is also possible that the cost of living in Country X did not increase as rapidly as the family’s income. From the analysis,we can conclude that the family in Country X managed to maintain a balanced budget over the years despite the significant rise in income. This example highlights the importance of financial planning and budget management in ensuring economic stability and achieving long-term financial goals.试卷答案Part A Dear Sir or Madam,I am a student here and I am writing to offer some suggestions for improving the services of the university library.Firstly,I believe that more study spaces should be provided, especially during peak times when the library gets extremely crowded.Secondly,it would be helpful if the library could extend its opening hours, particularly on weekends,to accommodate students with different schedules. Finally,I suggest expanding the digital resource collection to include more e-books and online journals, which are essential for modern study.I hope these suggestions will be considered.Thank you for your time.Part B The chart provides a clear picture of the changes in annual household income and expenditure for a typical family in Country X over a period of 33 years from 1990 to 2023.It is evident that both income and expenditure increased significantly during this time frame, but the income saw a steeper rise. From 1990 to 2023,the family’s annual income increased from 20,000 dollars to nearly 80,000 dollars, marking a 300%increase.In contrast, the annual expenditure started at 15,000 dollars and grew to around 60,000 dollars, which, although substantial, represented a less dramatic increase compared to income. The expenditure more than doubled, yet it lagged behind the income growth.Several factors could explain this trend. On the one hand, the family might have experienced significant career growth or had other sources of income, leading to a substantial increase in earnings. On the other hand, the family could have been prudent with their spending, managing to keep their expenditure growth in check through careful budgeting and financial planning. It is also plausible that the cost of living in Country X did not escalate as rapidly as the family’s income. In conclusion, the data illustrates that the family in Country X was able to maintain a healthy financial balance over the years, with their expenditure rising at a slower rate than their income. This scenario underscores the importance of effective financial management and planning in achieving long-term economic stability and prosperity.
