life. 如：a pleasure乐事a success成功的人或事a surprise奇异的事a failure失败的人或事a pity可惜的事a must必要的事a worry令人担忧的事a wonder奇迹a great help有帮助的人或事a youth年轻人a danger危险的人或物a beauty美人(2)表示抽象的特性、状态、思维、行为的一次、一种、一类、一下、一顿等意思时，常可组成“a/an＋抽象名词”或“a/an＋形容词＋抽象名词”结构。如：have a sleep睡觉die a death死take a great interest表现极大的兴趣take a have been looking for my lost book for three days, but I still haven’t found it. We have been living here for ten years.(强调还要继续住下去)We have lived here for ten years.(不知道是否已经结束)②在无时间状语的情况下，前者表示动作仍在进行，而后者则表示动作在过去已结束。The students have been preparing for the exam.(还在进行)The students have prepared for the exam.(已经结束)(2)句中的suggest含义为“暗示，表明”，后面接从句时不用虚拟语气。His pale face suggests he is in bad health. 当suggest含义为“建议，提出”时，后面跟从句时要用虚拟语气that sb.should do。I suggested to him that we should handle the in more than 80 countries, making it the most popular sport. [即境活用3]The news reporters hurried to the airport,only______the film stars had left.A．to tell B．to be told C．telling
